@Leanne Hildebrand hey did you hear that the CDC is literally following guidelines that teachers introduced and passed them off as scientific safety guidelines? This was just announced, so if this is the new standard for “science” then I’d rather listen to the old standard that says “if you touch your mask, you are then contaminating it rendering it useless.” I didn’t make that up like these teachers are, that’s from people who use them every day for their practice You people are so willfully ignorant it’s so embarrassing

@Some Prsn haha love that you make these false claims. Unclean hands touching a clean mask, wouldn’t be a huge leap to then say the mask is no able to protect you specially if your dirty hands have COVID-19 on it. And again another false claim/assumption that people following the science are science deniers. It is literally comedic how selfish and stupid you are.

@Joshua Nicholas Vaccines help suppress transmission and stop it spreading like wildfire. It reduces viral load, reduces the time people are infectious, and it stops the majority of people from becoming so ill they require medical assistance, and therefore reduces the exposure of medical personnel and reduces a major cause of transmission. The effects on the macroscopic level effectively suppress transmission to the point that the disease becomes endemic. It also stops the healthcare system being overwhelmed by acutely sick, highly infectious patients. Its not a magic bullet, and coronaviruses mutate rapidly, so personally I think its here to stay. But vaccines will at least push back on spread, mutation rate, and physical harm. Its worth noting that when the disease goes unchecked, like in India, the place becomes a massive crucible where it becomes survival of the fittest for the the most transmissible strain of the virus. Putting a lid on that kind of rapid transmission can only help.

When did they confirmed vaccinated people does not transmite the virus? Cuz the CDC says you still need to wear a mask, even if vaccinated. So if you are a young healthy 22 yrs person, without co-morbility you have about 5% chance of daying from this, and is still not proven that if you are a symptomatic you can transmit the virus. If you get the jab the risk of daying from the disease is about 2%, so what is surprising to me is that they are pushing this group of people to get the shot…

Anthony Fauci strawmanned the argument, the question was about if a healthy 21 yr old should get the vaccine, already a vague premises. Joe said if you are healthy and eating right you'll be okay. That is true. Dr. Fauci did not refute that a healthy 21 yr old would be safe without the vaccine. He challenged with the idea, that OTHER people would at risk, and use a 3 degree of separation-like explanation for why you should get a vaccine... So, Joe was right and Fauci juked to the herd immunity argument. Said another way, Fauci couldn't challenge Joe's logic, so he made an emotional appeal to empathy and sympathy instead.

1:50. Getting vaccinated does not slow the spread. The vaccine just keeps you from feeling sick, you can still pass covid to others. The numbers go town because less people feeling sick means less people getting tested. If anything, the fact that I can carry the virus but not know because I don't get sick makes the vaccine potentially harmful. Don't get me wrong, if you are at all at risk, get the thing. For the rest of us, me not getting the vaccine does not hurt you in any way.

How the vaccines going to work when we already have 3 different covid strains that make covid more infectious? You know why it mutated? Because of lockdowns. Lockdowns actually can cause viruses to mutate. I ain't gunna get a vaccine because there is no point. Covid is here to stay so it doesnt matter what we do about it since nothing we do seems to be working. The best we can do is let it integrate with our population.

    • Xiro Chamber

      Xiro Chamber

      Degi Síðan síðan

@Ciara it's based on evidence that was observed during lockdown. They found that not moving around caused more mutations in the virus because of the blood plasma being stable throughout the body. People weren't exercising and the more you exercise the less likely the virus will mutate because your vital immune response systems are more able to tackle the virus before it spreads throughout the body. Maybe do some research before you start with "no evidence" crap. Here is the link translational-medicine.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12967-020-02501-x

      Xiro Chamber

      Degi Síðan síðan

@Ciara they both cause mutations. Sedintary lifestyle can actually skyrocket the amount of mutations a virus could have. The thing is people are going to get infected regardless of lockdowns because the virus can mutate to be more infectious while in lockdown. We already have 4 different covid strains now since the lockdowns. Not only that lockdowns affect those in poverty and will cause people to go out more than usual. If lockdowns worked they would have already and you cant blame people for wanting to go outside, humans are meant to move around not everyone has the time or resources to stay lockdown. What they should have done was force those who were the most at risk to stay in lockdown and provide social security checks and let everyone else work.

    • Ciara

      Ciara

      Degi Síðan síðan

Lockdowns in no way can cause mutants. The more people that get it and the longer it is allowed to spread, the more likely its gonna mutate.

It seems to me Joe is saying from a point that it’s an assumption that older and unhealthy people are going to get the vaccine. So why should a healthy 21 year old get it? There isn’t much of a hard thought process here. Someone who is not taking the vaccine is a (very small) risk they’re willing to take, especially if they’re young. You couldn’t be upset if in 6 months from now a 60 year old ends up getting Covid from someone else. That 60 year old also had the chance to take the vaccine but didn’t. It’s all about risks and choices. You can’t always look out for others in everything in life but you can always look out for yourself.

I also over having my taxes go up to pay for the education but then have to use what is left to supply my classroom or have food or clothing for those that also get crazy raised taxes. The system is broke but I love what I do and my life is full working with children, seeing them grow, have lightbuld moments, and then share their knowledge with others. He said why would you be comfortable injecting a child with the j&j vaccine but not be comfortable using their other products on your child. It’s their body their choice. You don’t have to take the vaccine if you don’t want to and you shouldn’t be punished for your decision IMO, even if the outcome is potentially dangerous. I think if you are truly worried about getting sick then get vaccinated yourself to protect you from those people. The people less likely to have symptoms is proven to be those in the demographic joe pointed out. He's just having conversations with interesting people speaking in the moment and often under the influence, it's entertaining. He could give a shit about someone deplatforming him because he has fuck you money and his fanbase will follow him wherever for the genuine unfiltered opinions and conversations.

I would really like other people's opinions on this. A year ago leading scientists and professionals said that covid was transmitted through water droplets not aerosolized. We now know that was completely wrong, and the very same experts have apologizes for this stance. This makes one wonder what down the line repurcussions of the vaccine we could learn in a year from now. As a low risk healthy young person what are the pros/cons of developing resistance artificially vs naturally? I still plan on getting my shot when it is available on my country, but can't discount those questions

Are you seriously using Fauchi as a source for advice? He said “masks don’t work”. Then masks work so well “make your own” Then he said “wear two masks” The guy can’t give consistent advice. Why are you acting like he is a good source? What a joke.

You don’t need to wear mask after vaccination. Of 84 million people vaccinated only 6 thousand have contracted COVID. Meaning you have a 0.0071% chance of getting and spreading COVID after being vaccinated. You don’t need to be a doctor to understand simple arithmetic.

I’m a huge fan of Joe Rogan. For the most part he doesn’t seem influenced by any specific ideologies and he mostly seems to base his opinions off of straight facts and logic. He’s still human though and not everything is black or white and we All have our own unique brains with unique thoughts. Personally I think that he shouldn’t be encouraging young People to not get vaccinated as it does to against the science and says that we have.

Joe Rogan's whole schtick is that he's a super relatable "normal" dude, only educated enough to ask good questions. He does a good job of regularly reiterating that. I think the health risk from not vaccinating is still greater, but anti covid vaxxers are demonized too severely for a normal amount of caution for a new medical innovation. We're all making judgement calls.

People are cry babies, who can’t take of themselves and blaming other people for there issues, if you know someone at risk cause of age or fat or other health issues maybe watch yourself with them do your part to protect them don’t fingerpoint that the mail man gave you covid and you gave it to grandma that’s your fault not his. So I don’t see anything wrong with not getting the vaccine if you’re young and healthy especially since it’s doesn’t stop you from getting or spreading it just reduces chances and symptoms, when the recomemended treatment for something so deadly is to stay home and wait for it to pass, unless your old and unhealthy. It ain’t that bad maybe it’s time to look at your life styles and diets instead of blaming low risk people for your problems

I use my logic I don't use anyone elses view . I will not take a shot made by the country that made everyone sick I will not take a shot made by a company like J & J that had no issues with giving people cancer for decades threw a powder you put on babies . I will not take a shot given threw a government that thinks it's ok to massively dosing people with drugs like acid or that will sterilizing black females cleaning they was taking out there appendix . I'm not ok with a rushed shot . I am not ok with taking away freedom of choice . So no I will not take a shot I have heard people I'm close to say they had issues with and they are younger then me and I am 43. When I see posts about these shots that sound like brain washed controlled masses are feeling like the shots are " like Christmas " because now I am free to go anywhere I feel sick because we should always be free to go anywhere . Our forefathers told us this kind of government was on its way when we give away our freedom in train for " safety ". Here we are. Beef up irs as if they just didn't see the massive illegal acts of these billionaires . Come on they are paid to turn around and bend over for there daily joy ride . As we pay the real bills . I'm just saying .
